Montana Far East Transfer CenterThe Project consists of the construction of a new bus transfer facility for the City of El Paso Sun Metro, comprising about 5,600 square feet of enclosed building to include waiting area, restrooms, driver lounge and community room. The work also includes extensive site improvements to include bus and a 156-space park & ride, bus shelters and seating, landscaping, fencing, and other hardscape elements. Within the 5500 Sq. Ft. of building and bus shelters, there were all types of construction to include CMU, steel, glass, and concrete tilt up panels. The total square footage of concrete panels cast for this project were 4,084 Sq. Ft. VEMAC in partnership with the City of El Paso was able to convert the parking areas from asphalt paving to concrete paving which has a longer use life and requires much less maintenance. The total area paved on this project was 89,336 sq. ft. 12 architectural tilt up panels, weighing up to 75,000 lbs.
